Seeing as we're all a bit baby mad at Scandi Kitchen this week what witht he arrival of little Elsa, we thought it fun to try and see what some other pairings might look like.

Well, sort of. Probably. Our Bronte finally went pop and out came Elsa. Thanks for all your well wishes: Mum, Dad, Big Sister Astrid and Elsa all doing very well. Both Mum and Dad have taken a few days off to be with the kids and get to know the new one.

We think our little open sandwiches look lovely. But man, how tricky is it to take good photos of food? Very. It takes skills, precision and patience.
If you have ever wanted to improve your food photography skills, now is your chance: the excellent Chris Windsor is hosting some mini sessions in October for both DSLR and "Point and shoot" digital camera users.
Places are strictly limited. Snus is a very Swedish thing. Basically, for those of you not in the know, it is moist tobacco packed tightly together and "left" to infuse under the top lip of the user. Basically, a cigarette with no harm to others and no smoke at all.
While we do not think nicotine is a wonderful thing at the best of time, we do think that people should be able to do what they want if it does not affect people around them. Currently, the EU has a ban on Snus across Europe except Scandinavia (where the use of Snus is considered "traditional" and is therefore legal to sell).
This means that nobody in the UK is allowed to sell SNUS - although it is perfectly legal to import own use and to use it.

...and we're there too, at the Lamer Tree Gardens (11-13 Sep 2009). All this weekend we'll be posting pics from our fab team who've gone to Dorset to camp out and serve meatballs and hotdogs to the masses.
Last night we were all very tired, trying to pack the van - and this morning five of us are off to the countryside to set up the tents and do a little anti-rain dance. You see, we have not learnt from our mistakes: last year we forgot to bring wellies. And this year, we've forgotten them too. So, no rain, please.
