WINNERS of Pimp my Gingerbread House 2011

It was a really, really tough call.  We're glad we didn't have to do the judging.  Actually, we couldn't do it - we felt it would be fair if we totally outsourced the judging instead.

Two lovely ladies, Theresa and Barbaba, voluntered to be independent judges and were shown all photos of all entires.  Being in opposite ends of the country, the two ladies never met and still came to the same conclusions for the winners.  Which is lucky, because that saves up from getting a headache and feeling bad about stuff.

The grown up house winner is ELLEN with her "Santa Versus Monsterpus".  The sheer attention to detail as well as the whole concept is just brilliant.

The winner of the children's category is Thomas with his "StarWars Lego Gingerbread House - Chewbacca guarding the Christmas Eggs".  Thomas is 5 and got help from him mummy to decorate it, but the concept is his own and for that, the judges felt it was a worthy winner.

Thank you so much to all of you who entered the competition.  We can't wait to do this again next year on a massive scale.

Big love
